Claire Ulmer is thrilled to begin her journey as Miss Mississippi Teen USA 2023. She is a native of Natchez, MS and currently resides in Madison, MS. She plans on attending The University of Mississippi in Oxford, MS and will be majoring in Broadcast Journalism.

Throughout her high school career, Claire was an avid runner and competed on the Cross Country team, serving as Captain her Senior year. She was also very involved in her youth group and enjoyed volunteering in several different service organizations where she ac-quired over 400 hours of community service. One of her greatest joys is giving back to her community.

Claire created a non-profit, “Smiles for Celiac,” to share awareness for Celiac disease after she was diagnosed at age 15. She is passionate about being the voice for inclusion, health awareness, and being an advocate for teens.

In her spare time Claire enjoys working at a local clothing store, attending her school sport-ing events, hanging out with her friends, and making memories during her Senior year. Claire also loves to cook and enjoys creating new and delicious recipes.

Claire and her family have spent many summers traveling across the United States in their RV. This quality time together has created some of the funniest and most memorable experiences! Claire will most definitely share these stories with her own family one day as she carries on the tradition of family travel!

Claire is looking forward to making a lasting impact across the state of Mississippi, connecting with people of all ages on the importance of health awareness, and encouraging everyone to give back in their communities. She cannot wait to represent the great state of Mississippi at Miss Teen USA!
