A native of Picayune, Hailey White was crowned Miss Mississippi USA on 2 April 2022 and represented Mississippi at the Miss USA 2022 pageant in Reno, Nevada. Hailey is a full-time wedding and event planner. She competed alongside her sister Ivy at Miss MS USA and Teen USA for a number of years.
Hailey graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Marketing. Hailey is now a full-time wedding and event planner. She started working in the wedding industry at a very young age, as working at a venue was her first job at 13 years old. Her favorite thing about working in the wedding industry is getting the opportunity to meet and work with couples to plan one of the biggest and most special days of their lives. When she is not wedding planning, she is horse training alongside her father on their family ranch or assisting in her mother’s veterinary clinic. Growing up on a ranch has taught her, at an early age, the value of hard work and taking responsibility and pride in what you do. Although there are days when it is not so glamorous, she credits her upbringing for molding her into who she is today. Hailey likes to say she can go from “Ranchy to Fancy” quick, from horse trainer by day to wedding planner at night.
Growing up watching her parents operate their small businesses inspired her to want to help other small businesses. She hosts networking events for business owners, as well as aims to promote youth entrepreneurship throughout her reign. She has been involved in pageantry for the last 6 years, during which she received first runner up at the Miss Mississippi Teen USA competition in 2016 on her first try. Hailey is honored to represent the great state of Mississippi, and hopes to leave a legacy of being hard working, passionate, and persistent. She is excited for the year ahead, participating in the Miss USA pageant as well as serving her state as Miss Mississippi USA 2022
