A native of Poland, Miss Maine Teen USA 2021 Kyah Brown represented Maine at the Miss Teen USA 2021 pageant in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Because she will be studying culinary arts in school and is working in the field, Kyah has developed a passion for bringing awareness to childhood hunger and food insecurities. She volunteers with her aunt at the Good Shepard Food bank to help her community and state.
Miss Maine Teen USA 2021 Kyah Brown’s mum and step-dad both served in the military. She is a junior at Poland Regional High School where she plays both softball and basketball. Her school has helped with overcome educational challenges by providing her alternatives to traditional classroom time. Kyah is now thriving in school and will be focusing on a trade beginning next year in the culinary arts program. She works at a local restaurant, The Little Brick Pub and they make the best pizza in town!

In Maine over 166 thousand people are facing hunger – and of them over, 44 thousand are children. She volunteers with her aunt at the Good Shepard Food bank to help her community and state. She plans to use the Miss Maine Teen USA platform to expand her focus on these issues.
