A native of Lafayette, Gracie Petry was crowned Miss Louisiana Teen USA on 16 January 2021 and represented Louisiana at the Miss Teen USA 2021 pageant in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Miss Louisiana Teen USA 2021 Gracie Petry is a freshman at Louisiana State University where she is pre-med, majoring in biology. Her goal is to become a physician.
Giving back is one of Gracie’s passions. She is the founder of the non-profit “Smile Pack,” which sends packages of toothpaste, toothbrushes and floss to children in need of dental care. She came up with the idea while on a dental mission trip to the Mexico in 2018 and initially funded the project with her babysitting money. She now sends the Smile Packs worldwide.
Gracie is active in her church and her community, volunteering with the local food back as well as several medical clinics. She works with underprivileged children and has also served as a summer camp counselor.
Having grown up on a farm, she has a deep love of animals and has won ribbons for her participation in livestock shows.
She is active in her sorority, Delta Zeta and in her spare time, enjoys modeling.
