Emma Mayfield is Miss Kansas Teen USA 2025

A native of Arkansas City, Emma Mayfield was crowned Miss Kansas Teen USA on 23 March 2025 and will represent Kansas at the Miss Teen USA 2025 pageant. Emma has completed hundreds of hours of community service and creating awareness about her initiative, “Stop Stalking.” She speaks out about the issue of stalking; educating others on what it is, and how we can stay safe. Emma established this as her platform after a family tragedy. Her aunt, Jodi Sanderholm, was a victim of stalking for over half her life, and killed by her stalker just two days before Emma was born.

2025 bio:

Emma Mayfield is a rising Freshman at Missouri Valley College. She received a full tuition scholarship after winning the Miss Kansas Teen USA pageant, and is set to graduate with two bachelor degrees in 3 and ½ years. Emma plans to double major in marketing and business management in the fall.

Throughout her years of secondary education, Emma was very focused on academia and being a good student. She took numerous dual credits, AP, and advanced courses. She finished high school this past May with over 39 college credits, having taken 8 courses alone her senior year! Even with a challenging academic workload, Emma graduated Magna Cum Laude, and with a 4.500 GPA!

In addition to her commitment to school, Emma is also dedicated to community activism. She has completed hundreds of hours of community service and creating awareness about her initiative, “Stop Stalking.” She speaks out about the issue of stalking; educating others on what it is, and how we can stay safe. Emma established this as her platform after a family tragedy. Her aunt, Jodi Sanderholm, was a victim of stalking for over half her life, and killed by her stalker just two days before Emma was born. Emma’s family worked tirelessly to pass “Jodi’s Law” in Kansas and New Mexico, which makes stalking a Class C felony. Her mission is to get this law passed nationwide. Some of the steps she’s taken thus far include, sharing Jodi’s story in a Hulu documentary, interviews within the Kansas government, a press conference with the Kansas Attorney General and writing to other State Senators and Governors.

Some other activities Emma has been involved in include the small business she helped create with her mother, choir and competitive acting. She also enjoys traveling, staying active, modeling and relaxing with a good book. One of her favorite modeling highlights was walking the runway in New York Fashion Week last fall, a thrill she will never forget. Emma will be spend a lot of her time this summer preparing for the Miss Teen USA Pageant. This won’t be the first time she’s represented Kansas on a national stage. She also served as the Kansas Junior Teen representative for the IJM program, and won the international title!
