Erna Palic was crowned Miss Idaho USA on 22 October 2011 and represented Idaho at the Miss USA 2012 pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada. Erna was born in Bosnia Herzegovina and moved to the United States when she was 12. She has a very diverse background and speaks four different languages. She is currently attending Boise State University majoring in Psychology.

She has a very diverse background and speaks four different languages. She loves to travel and meet new people. Erna grew up in Idaho where she was raised by wonderful parents who taught her values and to appreciate everything in life.
In 2005, Erna graduated Capital High School and is currently attending Boise State University majoring in Psychology. Erna is also a model and wants to pursue a career in fashion industry. She loves begin actively involved in her community, supporting the Broncos and local companies.
Erna wants to reach out to young women and teens and give them tools and resources to be change makers and have a successful life. She also wants to promote her platform on self-esteem and confidence to all young girls and women across the state. She loves spending time with friends and family and strives to be a better person and a role model to other young women every day. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors and every once in awhile she goes skydiving and zip lining.
