Miss Idaho USA 2015 Claira Belle Hollingsworth is a 22 year old country girl who has lived in Idaho her entire life. She recently put her dental hygiene education on hold to pursue the Miss USA title. Although Claira has been diagnosed with scoliosis, she stays strong by working out at the gym and running to clear her mind and staying physically fit. One of Claira’s most memorable experiences is spending two weeks in the Dominican Republic assisting with the medical and dental needs of the people there. “It was so rewarding to be able to make a difference in their lives offering services that we take for granted in the United States,” says Claira. This experience helped her to create her platform to teach Idaho’s youth about the importance of nutrition and exercise. Her four key ingredients to a healthy body are good sleep habits, physical relaxation, good nutrition and exercise. Some of her favorite things are Oreos, homemade chicken noodle soup, Disneyland, and football and baseball seasons.
