A native of Boise, Gabriella Simpson was crowned Miss Idaho Teen USA on 6 November 2016 and represented Idaho at the Miss Teen USA 2017 pageant in Phoenix, Arizona. Known to all of her family and friends as “Bella,” she has always had a soft spot for animals and spends a good bit of her volunteer time at the Idaho Humane Society working to help find placement for orphaned animals. Other organizations benefiting from her volunteer time include the Idaho Food Bank, Boys and Girls Club, the Boise Valley YMCA and USO.
Miss Idaho Teen USA 2017 Gabriella Simpson graduated from Boise High school and Treasure Valley Math and Science Center this past May. She plans to attend Missouri’s private, Lindenwood University in search of a degree in Forensic Science, which will provide a strong base to then attend law school.

She believes giving and serving others is of the utmost importance.
Outside of school, Gabriella loves soccer and traveling. She currently plays co-ed, overall for 13 consecutive years, and enjoys traveling beyond the state borders as often as opportunity presents itself, not only for cultural experiences but to promote her pageant mission. Hoping to take home the crown, Gabriella will continue to promote and support volunteerism to show how important and fun it can really be.
