Top 10 Miss AL Teen USA 2016, 4th runner-up 2015
A native of Tuscaloosa, Baylee Smith was crowned Miss Alabama USA on 5 November 2016 and represented Alabama at the Miss USA 2017 pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada. Baylee studied early education at Troy University and loves working with children.
Baylee attends Troy University where she is a sophomore pursuing a degree in elementary education. She is also a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority. Because of her love for children, she hopes to use her title as Miss Alabama USA to promote anti-bullying- an epidemic that she is passionate about. Baylee hopes to use her year to travel throughout the state to be a positive role model and be an inspiration to each person she comes in contact with, just as they will be to her! In her free time Baylee enjoys working with children, cooking for her roommates, and traveling. She is truly honored to represent the great state of Alabama and she will always do so to the best of her ability.
