A native of Tuscaloosa, Miss Alabama Teen USA 2019 Kalin Burt represented Alabama at the Miss Teen USA 2019 pageant in Reno, Nevada where she finished fourth runner-up. Kalin was a freshman Presidential Scholar at the University of Alabama during her reign and has since graduated with degrees in Finance and Spanish. She now runs her own hair and makeup business.
My name is Kalin Burt; the new Miss Alabama Teen USA! I am an 18-year-old Presidential Scholar at the University of Alabama, majoring in Finance and Spanish. Modeling has been a passion of mine since an early age; I am blessed to say that I began part-time modeling at the age of 15, and I’m now signed with MMG Model Management in New York. This has given me the opportunity to travel throughout the United States, but I would love to expand that to other countries, especially places where I could use my bilingual skills. I have worked as a part-time accounts payable clerk and translator for our family business throughout the past few years. My goal is to continue modeling, while pursuing my college degree in hopes, with hard work and determination, to become the first woman CEO/owner of our family business. I enjoy watching Alabama football games, staying fit and healthy, helping the community, and spending time with friends and family. My goal for this year is to keep an open mind, take all of the opportunities that are presented to me, make as many friends and memories as possible, and shine His light each and every day.
