A native of Cabot, Makenzie Sexton was crowned Miss Arkansas Teen USA on 1 November 2015 and represented Arkansas at the Miss Teen USA 2016 pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada. Makenzie is the daughter of Miss Missouri USA 1992 Tonya Snodgrass.
Miss Arkansas Teen USA 2016 Makenzie Sexton is originally from Mountain Home, Arkansas and later moved to Cabot. She is the daughter of Miss Missouri USA 1992 Tonya Snodgrass.. She played basketball all through school until two years ago, when she tore her meniscus in her left knee. She underwent three surgeries and unfortunately was no longer able to play. She says through that experience taught her many things; one being that a person is not defined by their talents or abilities; it is about the content of your character. In winning the title of Miss Arkansas Teen USA, it gave her an amazing opportunity to use her voice and share this message.
