On May 25, 2025, Reyana Ahern, 16, of Warwick, Rhode Island, was crowned Miss Rhode Island Teen USA 2025 at the Rhode Island Convention Center in downtown Providence. A sophomore at Pilgrim High School, Reyana has consistently earned high honors throughout her academic journey and is known for her dedication both inside and outside the classroom.

Reyana’s path hasn’t been a typical one. Born to young parents, she experienced loss early in life when her father passed away due to addiction. This experience has shaped her perspective, fueling her drive to turn pain into purpose. She lives with her grandmother, who introduced her to the Secret Angels Society, a nonprofit organization that assists families facing sudden traumatic events such as the loss of a loved one, disability, or displacement. Reyana is passionate about continuing to support and advocate for these families, and her mission is clear: to inspire young girls to believe that their past does not determine their future.

One of Reyana’s greatest passions is dance; she began dancing at 6 years old. She currently is competing with Defying Gravity School of Dance, where she dedicates countless hours each week to her craft. Dance has long served as her emotional outlet, allowing her to express herself through movement and artistry. She now gives back by teaching younger dancers at her studio, sharing her love of dance and mentorship.

This was Reyana’s third time competing for the Miss Rhode Island Teen USA title, and she’s incredibly grateful for the opportunity to represent the Ocean State on the national stage. She’s determined to show the country that while Rhode Island may be the smallest state, its heart and spirit are mighty.
