A native of Cranston, Miss Rhode Island Teen USA 2020 Sofia Ledoux represented Rhode Island at the Miss Teen USA 2020 pageant in Memphis, Tennessee. Sofia has been part of student council, (SADD) Students Against Destructive Decisions and Best Buddies since Freshman year of highschool. She has grown strong relationships with the students that are part of Best Buddies and loves to put a smile on their face.
Miss Rhode Island Teen USA 2020 Sofia Ledoux is a Junior at Cranston High School West. She wants to attend the University Of Rhode Island and pursue her interest in the medical field. Her dream job is to become a successful dermatologist and one day start her own skin care line. Sofia has been part of student council, (SADD) Students Against Destructive Decisions and Best Buddies since Freshman year of highschool. She has grown strong relationships with the students that are part of Best Buddies and loves to put a smile on their face.
Sofia is involved in many extracurricular activities. She volunteers her time at Kent County Hospital. Sofia is a religious education teacher for first graders at her church. She has been playing softball since the age of 6, and has traveled all over Rhode Island with her team. Her other favorite sport is volleyball, she played for her highschool team in her freshman year. In October Sofia volunteers at Gloria Gemma Flames of Hope and raises money for breast cancer awareness.
Ever since Sofia was a young girl she wanted to enter a pageant. She entered the 2019 Miss Rhode Island Teen USA pageant and at just 15 years old she placed first runner up. Sofia knew in her heart she had to return; she gained confidence and many friendships her first time participating in a pageant. With her return to the USA system she felt added pressure because she had done so well the previous year. With the mindset to believe in herself and to never give up, she had won Miss Rhode Island Teen USA 2020!
