A native of Dayton, Miss Ohio USA 2013 Kristin Smith represented Ohio at the Miss USA 2013 pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada. Kristin had never considered modeling until was discovered by chance. After much success, she moved to LA for seven months during her sophomore year, balancing online courses and modeling jobs.
Miss Ohio USA 2013 Kristin Smith was born and raised in the Dayton, Ohio area. She had a very typical Midwest upbringing, spending her early childhood playing sports and camping with family and friends. Kristin was very active during her high school years, having cheered on the varsity cheer squad for football and basketball through all four years. She was a member of student government, Latin Club, and held an officer’s position in the National Honor Society.
Kristin is currently a senior at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where she majors in strategic communication with a minor in marketing. Kristin loves to cook, bake, and watch old movies.
