A native of Gallipolis, Miss Ohio USA 2016 Megan Wise represented Ohio at the Miss USA 2016 pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada. Megan has a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University of Chicagoi. A first grade teacher, Megan is passionate about children’s literacy and works to instill a love of reading in today’s youth.
Miss Ohio USA 2016 Megan Wise, 26, was born on the military base, Camp LeJeune in North Carolina. After her father finished his active duty service, she moved to Ohio to reunite with the rest of her family at the age of five. Megan has lived in the small town of Gallipolis, Ohio for the majority of her life. She then pursued a degree in Elementary Education and Graduated from the University of Rio Grande. Megan is currently a First Grade Teacher at Meigs Primary School and she recently just obtained her Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from. Concordia University of Chicago. She is passionate about children’s literacy and works to instill a love of reading in today’s youth. In her free time, Megan loves being active and outdoors. She enjoys kayaking, fishing, and going on hikes.
