A native of Montclair, Kendal Barrett was crowned Miss New Jersey Teen USA on 22 October 2011 and represented New Jersey at the Miss Teen USA 2012 pageant in the Bahamas. She was very passionate about acting and singing and in addition to participating in her school plays and singing groups, she has attended acting courses and film study in New York City. Kendal graduated from the University of Southern California in 2018.
Miss New Jersey Teen USA 2012 Kendal Barrett is a junior at Montclair Kimberley Academy where she is an honors student. She is a member of Master Singers and has been involved in numerous plays where she has had leading roles. In addition to her participation in the performing arts, Kendal is also an athlete, as she is a member of both the varsity field hockey and lacrosse teams. She is a member of student government serving as a member of the spirit committee.
Kendal donates her time to Operation Smile, as she feels that every child deserves to have the ability to smile. She is very passionate about acting and singing. In addition to participating in her school plays and singing groups, she has attended acting courses and film study in New York City and has even shared her vocal talents at the prestigious Carnegie Hall. She also enjoys traveling, snow skiing, reading, and attending Broadway shows.
