A native of Holmdel, Christina Thompson was crowned Miss New Jersey Teen USA on 21 October 2012 and represented New Jersey at the Miss Teen USA 2013 pageant in the Bahamas. After competing in both North Carolina and New Jersey, Christina won the Miss Virginia USA 2021 title and made the top 16 at Miss USA.
Miss New Jersey Teen USA 2013 Christina Thompson is a junior at Red Bank Catholic High School where she is taking all honors classes along with AP college level courses. At school she is President of the Sports Broadcast Network, Vice President of Mock Trial, a Model UN delegate, school Ambassador and a writer for the school newspaper, The Signpost. She is also on the Varsity Volleyball team and plays the position of outside hitter. In addition to her school involvements she is a member of her church’s high school youth group. Christina is currently on the weekly national TV show, Teen Kids News. She can be seen reporting on a wide variety of interesting stories on this award-winning educational news show for kids and teens.
Christina loves volunteering to help children in need. Her extensive volunteering includes traveling to Guatemala to help renovate and student teach at a children’s school in El Oratorio, bringing school supplies and food to the children living in the trash dump of Zacapa, and volunteering at a childrenÕs home in Belize City. She was part of a team that went to inner city Detroit to renovate the parks for the inner city kids and was part of a team that also traveled to Ohio to renovate a ranch for Autistic children. Christina has been a student Sunday school teacher for autistic and special needs children. In the past she has also volunteered for Feed My Starving Children, St. Jude Research Hospital charity events, Ronald McDonald House, Shriners Children’s Hospital and SOS Children’s Villages. She also has a love of animals and has volunteered at Animal Rescue Force.
Christina is the daughter of Mike and Hallie Thompson and has two brothers, Brandon and Sean. She is honored to have been chosen to represent the beautiful state of New Jersey and is excited about the year she has ahead of her.
