Miss Georgia’s Outstanding Teen 2011
A native of Marietta, Julia Martin was crowned Miss Georgia Teen USA on 17 November 2012 and represented Georgia at the Miss Teen USA 2013 pageant in the Bahamas. Julia has traveled to Baltimore, France, Italy and Guatemala for mission trips and loves working with Special Olympics and ESP Inc., Special Needs Programs. In 2022 she fulfilled her dream of becoming a lawyer, graduating with her JD from Georgia State University College of Law.
Miss Georgia Teen USA 2013 Julia Martin is Captain of her high school soccer team and has played the cello for nine years. Other activities include Varsity Competition and Football Cheerleading, Co-Captain and North Cobb Christian School Concert Orchestra and Ensemble. As Wendy’s High School Heisman Award Winner and 4 year Scholar Athlete recipient, Julia has been awarded 11 Varsity Athletic Letters. Julia is also a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, Tri-M Music Honors Society and North Cobb Christian Literary Team.
Additionally, Julia has traveled to Baltimore, France, Italy and Guatemala for mission trips and loves working with Special Olympics and ESP Inc., Special Needs Programs. As founder and leader of the North Cobb Christian “Girl Talk” Chapter, Julia enjoys mentoring to 40 middle school girls on a weekly basis. She has had the honor of leading the University of Georgia football team and band into Sanford Stadium during the ceremonial pregame “Dawg Walk” and is the big sister of three energetic, younger brothers.
This fall, Julia will study political science at the University of Georgia. She plans to obtain a law degree and pursue a career as a trial lawyer or prosecuting attorney.
