A native of Birmingham, Kennedy Whisenant was crowned Miss Alabama USA in September 2025 and will represent Alabama at the Miss USA 2025 pageant in Reno, Nevada. Kennedy is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University. She was inspired by her mother’s fight with breast cancer to open an inclusive boutique for all women.

Kennedy started her pageant journey in her home state of Alabama, making the top 15 twice before placing 2nd runner-up to Kalin Burt in 2019 and 4th runner-up to Katie Watts in 2020.  She then started competing in Georgia (where she attended college), placing 3rd runner-up to Shayla Jackson at Miss Georgia Teen USA 2020 and 3rd runner-up to Emmaline Farmer at Miss Georgia USA 2024.  She was also Miss Collegiate America 2022.
