​​Miss Alabama Teen USA 2021 Sophia “Dailyn” Swann is a native of Greenville, Alabama. A 2020 graduate of Greenville High School, Dailyn completed her junior and senior year simultaneously to graduate with honors a year early. She was able to obtain 29 college credits through dual enrollment courses while in high school.
Immediately upon graduation, Dailyn moved to Birmingham, Alabama, with her older sister, Sellers, who is a first-year medical student at the University of Alabama School of Medicine. In the fall, the 18-year-old plans to attend the University of Alabama at Birmingham and double major in political science and Spanish in the Pre-Law track. Her goal is to become an attorney who focuses on human rights and immigration law.Dailyn’s passion for immigration legislation stems from her love for her two brothers from Honduras, Dony and Cristian, who came to the United States at the ages of 15 and 16. They became members of the Swann family after being adopted by parents Jeff and Julie. But witnessing their immigration process had motivated Dailyn to advocate for people who wish to join this great country.​Dailyn is active in her community. From 2017-2020, she served as an ambassador for the city of Greenville’s Chamber of Commerce as a Camellia Girl. During her senior year, she worked part time at the Sellers Law Firm.Dailyn currently works full time as a fashion consultant for The Clothes Tree by Deborah. In her spare time, she trains for marathons, but also enjoys collecting vintage vinyl records from various genres, baking deserts for the Saint Anne’s Women’s Home, and walking her two maltipoos through Highland Park in Birmingham.
