A native of Paradise Valley, Savannah Wix was crowned Miss Arizona Teen USA on 4 December 2013 and represented Arizona at the Miss Teen USA 2014 pageant in the Bahamas. Savannah was a junior at Xavier College Preparatory in Phoenix. She created HeartStrings, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting music therapy for children suffering with illnesses, disabilities, and abuse.

2014 bio:

Attending an all girls school, Miss Arizona Teen USA 2014 Savannah Wix has maintained a 4.0 GPA in all AP and Honors courses and belongs to four national honors societies. Not only is she academically focused, but also excels in theater! She belongs to Broadway Artists’ Alliance, has performed in Carnegie Hall with a national honor choir, and sang the national anthem at a San Francisco Giants game in front of almost 10,000 people! In addition, she has taught herself how to play guitar and piano.

She has used her musical abilities for community outreach, as well. HeartStrings, a nonprofit organization she founded, is dedicated to promoting music therapy for children suffering with illnesses, disabilities, and abuse. She believes in using creativity in writing music to overcome adversity and build self-esteem.
