A native of Chandler, Maureen Montagne was crowned Miss Arizona USA on 23 November 2014 and represented Arizona at the Miss USA 2015 pageant in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Maureen went on to win the Miss Globe international title representing the Philippines.
Maureen Montagne is 21 years old, a proud ASU Sun Devil and loves writing. She’s modeled since the age of five and has worked in many countries. Growing up, she was a shy kid, but modeling and pageantry have helped her come out of her shell. Maureen played basketball all throughout high school and is a huge Phoenix Suns fan! She loves hiking, dance, and watching her favorite guilty pleasure show, Dance Moms. She has danced for the past 12 years and has taken classes for ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop. Maureen danced on ASU’s Drill Team and has a love for fashion. She has a unique cultural heritage; her mother is from the Philippines and her father is French. She has been able to travel all over the world and experience many cultures and unique opportunities. She looks forward to pursuing her dream of being a reporter in Asia and using her success and experience to help other women achieve their dreams.
