Mackenzie Sydow is Miss New Mexico USA 2024

Miss New Mexico USA 2024 Mackenzie Sydow, the native New Mexican is an undergraduate at the University of New Mexico, pursuing her BA in Psychology and Community Health, while maintaining honors. After graduation, she will continue her education in the pursuit of a Master’s degree, followed by the desire to be a business owner, dedicating her life to public service.

The 22 year-old southwest queen, became the legal-guardian and primary caregiver for her brother who has Autism Spectrum Disorder while she was still in high-school. After the loss of both parents at a young age, she decided to ‘rise to the challenge’. She is an advocate for Autism, and for those with special needs. She shows community philanthropy by assisting in coaching Special Olympics, and feeding the homeless. She is CPR certified, and also cares for her grandfather who is diabetic.

Aside from helping others reach their goals, she embodies self-love and confidence as a signed model, passionate for the arts, and love for music, writing, and creating. Mackenzie wishes to use this platform to inspire, influence and encourage others that a past doesn’t define you, but you define a future. She is honored and blessed to represent this enchanting state, she calls ‘home’.
