A native of Anthony, Bianca Wright was crowned Miss New Mexico USA on 4 June 2023 and represented New Mexico at Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada. Bianca has studied environmental engineering at NMSU and tied her environmental advocacy with competing in the Miss Earth USA pageant.
Miss New Mexico USA 2023 Bianca Wright is a graduate from the New Mexico State University with a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science. As a strong women in STEM, and of Afro-Latina descent, her ultimate dream is to one day work for Los Alamos National Laboratory. Her initiative #Harvestinghelpforhumanity emphasizes on bringing back humanity through sustainable educational practices.  On Sunday mornings, You can usually find Bianca at the racetrack enjoying the beauty of horses. Something that you didn’t now about Bianca is that she is a ordained minister.  She also enjoys spontaneous solo trips and her favorite movie is a Bronx tale.  Bianca builds her self confidence by investing in the power of education. Some of the ways Bianca gives back to her community is she creates hygiene care packages for the homeless, and dresses up as princess Tiana from Princess and the Frog to uplift youth around her community. She believes a individual should be evaluated on their own merit and abilities and not defined by their gender sexuality or race. Bianca wright is determined to make New Mexico proud as she strives to be the next Miss USA.
