A native of Maple Grove, Sarah Anderson was crowned Miss Minnesota USA on 30 July 2023 and represented Minnesota at Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada. Sarah is a FORD model in Chicago and New York and also models in Minnesota and LA for runway shows, magazines, and photoshoots. In doing so, traveling has become one of her favorite hobbies as it allows her to explore other cultures and customs and meet new people.

A junior in college at Minnesota State University, Mankato, she is studying psychology with a minor in child development and family studies. Her dream job is to be a child and family therapist and help counsel children with troubled home lives.
Her passion for children’s mental health stems from close family and friends’ personal mental health issues and is personally dedicated to Girls on the Run, an organization designed to help young women recognize what they’re capable of and learn life lessons such as teamwork and leadership skills.
Sarah enjoys golfing, running, camping, being active, and one of her favorite ways to enjoy the great Minnesota outdoors, she also enjoys fishing with her friends and family. Some of her favorite childhood memories include horseback riding and competition dancing including jazz, tap, and lyrical.

Sarah is one of only a small group of state winners who have won a Miss title immediately after placing as a runner-up in the Teen pageant. She was third runner-up to Ava Ernst at Miss Minnesota Teen USA 2022 and was a semi-finalist in 2021.
