2nd runner-up 2020
A native of Clearwater, Madeline Helget was crowned Miss Minnesota USA on 29 May 2022 and represented Minnesota at the Miss USA 2022 pageant in Reno, Nevada. Madeline is a registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. She decided to come back and compete at Miss MN USA only 11 days before she won the title.
Madeline is employed as a registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer and created her non-profit called, “The Bersheid Foundation,” at age 24 to help focus on the mental health needs of cancer patients.
When Madeline has free time, she loves beautiful Minnesota lake days on the pontoon (but not in the lake because she is scared of fish!). She also loves to travel, lift weights, and snuggle her four fur babies. She is a total foodie and loves making homemade salted nut rolls with her grandma. Madeline grew up the middle child between two brothers and is the proud aunt to her little niece.
She competed in her first pageant when she was in eighth grade, and it changed her life forever. Pageants introduced her to some of her best friends and opened doors to some of the most amazing opportunities. Pageantry has impacted Madeline’s life in the most positive way, and because of that, she is so grateful to represent the great state of Minnesota and is excited to represent her home state while competing at Miss USA!
The on-stage moments, the tension of the final two and the glory of the crowning, here are Madeline’s state pageant photos.
Lights, camera, action! Professional photoshoots are one of the perks that comes from winning a title.
Aria competed for three years at Miss Michigan Teen USA, with her highest placement being a first runner-up finish to Unjanee Wells in 2016. She was a semi-finalist at Miss Michigan USA 2021 before winning the 2022 title.
All beautiful things must come to an end, no matter how bittersweet. See Madeline’s farewell walk and other candids from the weekend she crowned her successor Sarah Anderson as Miss Minnesota USA 2023.
