A native of Atlanta, Rachel Russaw was crowned Miss Georgia USA 2023 on 19 November 2022 and represented Georgia at Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada. A graduate of the University of Alabama, Rachel is a content creator, strategist and influencer.
Miss Georgia USA 2023 Rachel Russaw is a 25-year-old entrepreneur who already has an impressive track record of accomplishments behind her and is excited to use her platform of Miss Georgia USA to accomplish even more. She is a graduate of The University of Alabama where she earned a Bachelor of Science Majoring in Consumer Sciences. At the age of fifteen, she began her career as a full-time content creator and eventually achieved her dream of opening her own online clothing boutique Shop 8.14.
She is passionate about empowering the next generation of young women to follow their dreams no matter their circumstances. To do this, she started her initiative #InfluenceHerIRL to help cultivate self-confidence, promote mental health awareness, and teach about entrepreneurship.Passionate about making a change in her community, she is also the Director of Community Outreach for Novaturient, an organization based in Atlanta, Georgia, that provides free mental health services to children and families that have experienced trauma.Rachel is honored to represent the state of Georgia and is so excited for the year ahead. She will spend her year influencing the next generation of young people to follow their dreams.
