Kalysia Janell Negron is a college student and competitive dancer from Georgia, currently pursuing a degree in psychology as she continues to explore her passions and purpose. Her academic journey has deepened her curiosity about the human mind and inspired her to live a life rooted in empathy, connection, and advocacy.

At just 14 years old, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Kalysia underwent spinal fusion surgery to treat severe scoliosis. Experiencing the physical and emotional toll of a major health challenge at such a young age sparked a deep desire to support others facing similar journeys. That passion led her to launch her platform, “I’ve Got Your Back”, which focuses on early detection, awareness, and delivering comfort and confidence to children living with scoliosis.

Kalysia’s return to the pageant world wasn’t just about wearing a crown—it was about using a larger stage to elevate her mission. Since stepping back into the spotlight, she has expanded her outreach, connected with families across the country, and raised funds to donate Higgy Bears—special stuffed animals that wear back braces or have surgical scars, just like the children who receive them.

Now serving as Miss Georgia Teen USA 2025, Kalysia is honored to represent her home state and use her voice for a cause that is deeply personal. When she’s not volunteering, she works with a national dance competition company, traveling across the country to support and uplift young dancers as they take the stage.

Through her reign, Kalysia hopes to inspire young women to embrace every chapter of their story—and to remind them that even the hardest battles can become the most beautiful platforms.
