A native of Miami, Génesis Dávila was crowned Miss Florida USA on 19 January 2019 and represented Florida at the Miss USA 2018 pageant in Shreveport, Louisiana. Genesis’ most significant achievements include organizing more than twelve humanitarian flights and bringing primary care from Florida to the Caribbean region during the recent 2017 hurricane season.
Génesis Dávila won the Miss Florida USA 2017 title & was dethroned after it was discovered she had broken the pageant rules. She was allowed to return & compete for the 2018 title.
Génesis spent almost a year in disaster relief efforts before she found her calling to pursue a graduate degree in Nonprofit Management and Leadership. Combining her practical field experience with graduate education, Genesis would like to utilize her degree to leverage herself as the leader of her nonprofit organization specializing in providing primary needs to those affected by natural disasters.
