Semi-finalist Miss OK USA 2014
A native of Las Vegas NV who was living in Washington DC during her reign, Lizzy Olsen was crowned Miss District of Columbia USA on 21 December 2014 and represented District of Columbia at the Miss USA 2015 pageant in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Lizzy has a law degree from the University of Oklahoma and is Counsel on Energy, Environment and Environmental Justice in the office of Senator Tammy Duckworth.
Lizzy Olsen was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. After graduating from law school in Oklahoma, Lizzy moved to Washington D.C. where she is currently the Majority Director of Operations for the Senate Committee of Environment and Public Works and can often be seen on CPSAN.
When she isn’t on the Senate floor, Lizzy may be found modeling. She has been featured in numerous print campaigns and runway shows, and graced the catwalk during Fashion Week. Lizzy spends her free time running, volunteering, painting, and cooking but she loves nothing more than bonding with her family, friends and spending time with her cat named Bunny.
Lizzy has a passion for mentoring children, with a focus on education and literacy. Organizations that are near and dear to her heart are the National Center for Children and Families, the USO, No Kid Hungry, and Best Buddies. Lizzy is so excited to compete at Miss USA and hopes to bring crown home to the nationals capital!
