A native of McLean, VA who was living in Washington, DC, Dylan Murphy was crowned Miss District of Columbia Teen USA on 20 December 2015 and represented the District at the Miss Teen USA 2016 pageant in the Bahamas. Dylan’s background is a true melting pot with Irish, Filipino, French-Acadian and German heritage, which has influenced her love of travel. She has excelled academically and has been awarded an Internship with the United States Senate.
Dylan Murphy, Miss District of Columbia Teen USA 2016, currently attends the prestigious Madeira School where she is a member of the Green Team, Best Buddies Club, the Classics Club and serves as the Team Captain of her school’s Varsity Lacrosse team. Dylan has held a number of leadership positions including Class Head of Spirit and Activities Committee, Class Head of Community Service Committee, as well as volunteering as a Student Tour Guide and Mentor.
When not on the Lacrosse field, the dance studio or in the classroom, Dylan can be found in the crafting room. Dylan has excelled academically and has been awarded an Internship with the United States Senate.
