A native of Hialeah, Michelle Aguirre was crowned Miss Florida USA on 14 July 2012 and represented Florida at the Miss USA 2013 pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada. An experienced salsa dancer, Michelle has been dancing since the age of three and was a featured performer on an award-winning dance team. Her brother later married Miss Florida USA 2017 Linette De Los Santos.
Miss Florida USA 2013 Michelle Aguirre was born and raised in her home state where she currently studies Elementary Education at Miami Dade College. She hopes to one day inspire others just as her fourth grade teacher inspired her. Michelle is of Cuban and Puerto Rican descent, and is the only girl in a family with four brothers.
Michelle’s passion for helping others is evident in her volunteer work for Best Buddies, Susan G. Komen, and Veteran’s Hospital. She was recently recognized for her work on behalf of Relay For Life American Cancer Society.
Michelle is a true Florida girl and loves everything the Sunshine State has to offer. She enjoys boating, fishing, watersports, and the beach. An experienced salsa dancer, Michelle has been dancing since the age of three and was a featured performer on an award-winning dance team.
