Shae Smith is Miss Missouri USA 2025

Shae Smith is a native of Bolivar, MO, and a senior and honor student at the University of Missouri, majoring in Health Sciences with a minor in Business Administration. She is also a fourth year dancer as a Golden Girl and member of the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. Highly involved in her community, she is a MO Prudential Spirit of Community Award recipient, Presidential Volunteer Service Award winner and Philanthropist of the Year recipient.

Shae is an advocate for children’s charities in an effort to provide #TheGiftOfAMiracle to children in need. Diagnosed at age 11 with Idiopathic Scoliosis, she had to undergo Anterior Scoliosis Correction Surgery to correct a 63 degree spinal curve. She now dedicates her time advocating for scoliosis awareness and early detection, as well as encouraging young women to triumph after challenges. She has traveled the state speaking to thousands sharing her message “The Gift of a Miracle.” To date, she has represented her great state in Washington DC speaking on the steps of the capital, obtained a Missouri state proclamationdeclaring September 1 as Scoliosis Awareness Day in the state of Missouri, organized a “Confidently Curvy” fashion show, authored her own children’s book,“Beautiful Crooked Letter I,” and has raised thousands of dollars for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to help others facing similar challenges.

Outside the pageant world, Shae’s hobbies include dancing, modeling, traveling, zip lining and working at her family’s business, Smith’s Restaurant, in Bolivar, MO. Shae is resilient, driven, full of heart and ready to make an impact.
