Miss Kentucky Teen USA 2017 Olivia Prewitt​ aspires to a sports media career. She’s co-hosted radio shows with and interviewed some of the nation’s best high school basketball players for her blog, “Sundresses and Sideline Reports”. Last spring, during her junior year of high school, she interned with Jennifer Palumbo at WKYT. And for the past two years, she’s been working alongside Larry Vaught on his weekly radio show, Cat Calls, hosted on Thursdays at Mallards during football season.

She’s attended University of Kentucky Basketball Media Day for two years; Football Media Day, where she interviewed Jordan Jones and Coach Jimmy Brumbaugh; covered the Nike EYBL Tournament in Indianapolis, which featured the nation’s top high school basketball recruits and colleges; and covered the Pulaski County-Don Marshall Ram/E Classic where she interviewed young players Miles Bridges, DeAndre’ Ayton, and Jared Vanderbuilt.

She is a senior at Danville High School and plans to attend the University of Kentucky. Olivia also leads Fellowship of Christian Athletes at the high school on Fridays, is the vice president of the student body, is a peer tutor in the special education classes, has been a member of the National Honor Society, a Youth Salute Scholar and on the homecoming court.

One of those she looks up to is Miss Kansas Teen USA 2010 Olivia Harlan, who has gone on to a successful career as a sportscaster.
