A native of Orland Park, Miranda Fenzau was crowned Miss Illinois Teen USA on 2 November 2013 and represented Illinois at the Miss Teen USA 2014 pageant in the Bahamas. Miranda was selected as a dancer for the Chicago Bulls Jr. Luvabulls for three years. She modelled as a Pampers baby at the age of six months and can currently be seen in Teen Vogue and Seventeen Magazine as a Partytime model. After passing on her title, Miranda went on to compete at Miss Illinois USA and Miss Wisconsin USA.
Miss Illinois Teen USA 2014 Miranda Fenzau is an 18 year old graduate of Marist Catholic High School in Chicago. The 5’10” beauty has brown hair and hazel eyes which can be attributed to her Russian heritage. She began her modeling career at the tender age of six months as the Pampers baby. One of her most unique experiences was having the American Girl Doll “Samantha” made in her likeness. In a commercial for Disney she wore the coveted Mickey Mouse ears! One of her career highlights is modeling for Sherri Hill. She can currently be seen in Teen Vogue and Seventeen Magazine as a Partytime model.
Miranda is a natural athlete. She enjoys snowboarding, soccer, water skiing and yoga. She uses kickboxing as a way to stay physically fit. She was selected as a dancer for the Chicago Bulls Jr. Luvabulls for three years. Miranda was a member of Attack Volleyball Club of Orland Park and was awarded the bronze medal at the Jr. Olympics in Miami, Florida in 2009.
Miranda makes time for charitable organizations that are important to her. She supports PAWS, Chicago largest no kill animal shelter. She has personally rescued four dogs. She is also a member of Marist Youth, a Catholic volunteer organization serving those in need in the Chicago area.
She began competing in the Miss Illinois Teen USA pageant at the age of 14. She was a non-finalist in 2010 and was awarded 1st runner up in 2011 and 2012. Winning the title in 2013 was the culmination of a lifelong dream. She credits the Miss Illinois USA organization with building her self-confidence and gaining the skills needed to pursue her modeling career. She has made lifelong friends and considers the organization to be part of her extended family.
