A native of Deerfield, Sophia Xia was crowned Miss Illinois Teen USA on 25 May 2025 and will represent Illinois at the Miss Teen USA 2025 pageant. Sophia is an incoming sophomore at the University of Michigan studying Biophysics and International Studies on a Pre-Med track. She is a Skin Aging and Photobiology Undergraduate Researcher and Founder and President of Project Save Our Skin
