Miss Michigan USA 2017 Krista Ferguson was born and raised in Metro Detroit, Michigan. Krista is an advocate for Diabetes Awareness. This life-changing disease has inspired Ferguson to share her story and educate others on the symptoms and struggles of Diabetes. She hopes to be an example that one’s health conditions do not define who they are and, with confidence, anything is possible.
