1st runner-up 2017, 1st runner-up 2016, Miss Indiana Teen USA 2013
A native of Chesterton, Darrian Arch was crowned Miss Indiana USA on 22 October 2017 and represented Indiana at the Miss USA 2018 pageant in Shreveport, Louisiana. Darrian has had a love for medicine since she was young, spending countless hours at her father’s dental office dreaming of the day she would become a doctor herself. Sadly her father passed away the night she won Miss Indiana USA, but she has continued his legacy and has nearly completed her Doctor of Medicine degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine.
The on-stage moments, the tension of the final two and the glory of the crowning, here are Darrian’s state pageant photos.
Lights, camera, action! Professional photoshoots are one of the perks that comes from winning a title.
There’s nothing better than watching a contestant progress from year to year! Darrian won Miss Indiana Teen USA 2013 on her first try then competed twice for Miss Indiana USA before winning the 2018 title, finishing first runner-up to fellow former Teen Morgan Abel in 2016 (although they called the winner from the top 7 that year, Miss America-style, instead of the traditional final two) and then to Brittany Winchester in 2017.
All beautiful things must come to an end, no matter how bittersweet. See Darrian’s farewell walk and other candids from the weekend she crowned her successor Tate Fritchley as Miss Indiana USA 2019.
Winning a state title is a sisterhood for life. Here are Darrian’s “after the crown” photos.
