My Miss Maine USA and Miss Maine Teen USA history archive starts with the very first Miss Maine USA, Jean Marie Lemire of Old Town who competed at Miss USA 1952. There are photos for every Miss Maine USA titleholder since 1970 and every Miss Maine Teen USA in the pageant’s history. Maine is one of the few remaining states that has yet to have a representative crowned Miss USA or Miss Teen USA. They’ve had little success at Miss USA – including a dry patch of no placements between 1977 and 2006 – and even less at Miss Teen USA. Miss Maine USA 2004 Mackenzie Davis’ directorship brought something of a renaissance for Maine at Miss USA, including their first top five placement in 2010. Maine’s highest placement at Miss Teen USA was in 1995, when Katie Aselton finished first runner-up.
