Mazzy Eckel was crowned Miss Washington USA on 5 February 2022 and represented Washington at the Miss USA 2022 pageant in Reno, Nevada. A native of New Jersey who spent summers visiting family in Washington, Mazzy moved west to attend college. She has a degree in political science from Seattle University and has founded her own Instagram live series “Pursuing Leadership” where she interviews exceptional leaders of her adopted state.
Miss Washington USA 2022 Mazzy Eckel grew up in New Jersey but knew she wanted to move to Washington after spending her childhood summers and holidays visiting relatives there. She is a recent graduate of Seattle University with a degree in political science and has founded her own Instagram live series “Pursuing Leadership” where she interviews exceptional leaders of Washington State. Mazzy volunteers as a fitness instructor at a nonprofit, The Genesis Project, and continues to carry her great-grandmother’s legacy of activism by helping survivors of sex-trafficking.
