Miss Washington Teen USA Camilla Cyr was born and raised in Kirkland, WA. She’s 17, and attends Eastside Catholic High School, home of the Crusaders. At Eastside Catholic, she participates in the varsity tennis team and the varsity cheer team. She also has a creativity side and enjoys helping put together the school’s yearbook. She is active within her school’s community and takes a period out of her daily schedule to tutor one of her fellow students who is challenged from learning disabilities. She loves being a junior and representing Eastside colors, of orange and blue.

When Camilla is not studying, tutoring, cheering, or hitting balls on the tennis court, she enjoys being an average teenager. She danced for 13 years at Pacific Northwest Ballet and played many roles in the classic performances of The Nutcracker and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. In her spare time, she enjoys shoe shopping, reading, going to the movies with friends, photography, cooking and watching her favorite shows on TV… which include, Gray’s Anatomy, The OC, Gossip Girl, and re-runs of Friends. She is a huge country music fan and hopes to one day meet Taylor Swift. Camilla also loves to go on mother, daughter trips all over the world. Her recent favorite trip was down to the Bahamas for the Miss Teen USA 2009 pageant with hopes that she would compete in the Miss Teen USA 2010 pageant.

In the future, Camilla hopes to attend a four-year college of her choice majoring in business and even perhaps fashion. She inspires to be successful in whatever she does in life, and feels that the sky is the limit.
