A native of Portland, Shayla Montgomery was crowned Miss Oregon USA on 4 May 2023 and represented Oregon at the Miss USA 2024 pageant in Hollywood, California. Shayla previously placed first runner-up to Ki’ilani Arruda at Miss Teen USA 2020 and is the first Miss Oregon Teen USA to win Miss Oregon USA since 1996! She graduated with her BSN degree in December and works as a neonatal nurse.
