A native of North Platte and the first titleholder from western Nebraska since 1992, Aubrie Charter was crowned Miss Nebraska Teen USA on 26 February 2023 and represented Nebraska at Miss Teen USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada. She plans to attend the University of Nebraska at Kearney to study pre-pharmacy and earn a degree in bio-chemistry.
Miss Nebraska Teen USA 2023 Aubrie Charter is the first titleholder from North Platte and the first from western Nebraska since 1992. Aubrie will graduate from North Platte High School in May of 2023 and plans to attend the University of Nebraska at Kearney to study Pre-Pharmacy and earn a Degree in Bio-Chemistry. Throughout high school, Aubrie has been a member of the North Platte Varsity Cheer Team, Med Club and National Honors Society.
Aubrie is a strong advocate for people currently battling cancer. After watching her grandmother fight cancer for many years, she came up with a plan to help others. She established a platform called, “A Little Birdy Loves You,- Care and Comfort for those diagnosed with cancer.” Aubrie creates tote bags that are filled with many items such as socks, lightweight blankets, corn bags, anti-nausea wristbands, hard candies, hand sanitizer, lotion, crosswords, gently used books and more. Her grandmother used to take a bag with her that contained many of these items while receiving her own treatments, so she knows how helpful these items can be for patients.
