A native of Lincoln, Madison Novak was crowned Miss Nebraska Teen USA on 24 October 2010 and represented Nebraska at the Miss Teen USA 2011 pageant at Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
There are 525.948.766 minutes in a year and Madison Novak is excited about living each of those minutes to the fullest. On October 24th, 2010 Madison’s dream became reality when she was crowned Miss Nebraska Teen USA 2011 at the Roccoco theatre in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was a childhood dream come true as well a goal reached to obtain this extraordinary title. Madison has been a pageant participant since the age of nine. Since Madison’s first pageant she has been inspired by her own personal growth. She has been driven by the life skills that pageantry has taught her. The importantance of a good mental attitude,confidence in yourself, a strong self image, and the ability to help others.
Madison was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. This 17 year old’ is a junior at Southeast High School. Madison is an action oriented teen and passionate about helping young girls build confidence. She has taken every opportunity in her community to work towards this end. She is excited and optimistic that this crown may open many more doors for her to spread her message. Madison believes that “We can’t tailor make the situations in life- but we can tailor make the attitude to handle them…before they even happen! “Girl Power and the strength of women together is something we should enjoy and take advantage of in this country, it’s not something that every woman everywhere has!” The best accessory a girl can wear is her confidence. She is a Junior Varsity cheerleader, a three time all american cheer nominee, and an honor roll student .
The community clubs closest to her heart is Southeast Pals and Homer’s Heroes. These clubs focus on students with disabilities, helping these children stay involved and excited about school , and making them feel okay and adjusted despite their struggle. Madison’s weekend work here might include playing baseball or just spending time and encouraging the kids. “These kids love to see happiness, but they bring much more than you can give.”
Madison is a working model and is signed with Select Model Management. She has graced the pages of Supermodels Unlimited magazine. Madison being short in stature is out to prove that models come in all sizes. She is the only daughter of Jennie and Jon Novak. She spends as much time with her friends and family as she can. She loves to eat great pasta dishes, and. Shopping with her Mom in all the cities she can possibly hit. It seems to be what she likes to do best with her spare time She claims to have her black belt in shopping!
At a tender age Madison became a die-hard Nebraska football fan. This was dictated by her family’s love for sports. She has since set her sights on being a side line reporter one day. She loves sports, but what makes her an even better match for this job is the love she has for the story behind the players and the games.
She has set no limits on herself with her title and she plans to shoot for the stars! her plan is to do all she can to make a difference in this world,one person at a time. She is a strong believer in the fact that little things can make a big difference. “You need to dress up and get up in order to go up” and that means everything from your wardrobe to your attitude.
