A native of Meridian, Katarina Schweitzer was crowned Miss Idaho USA on 27 September 2020 and represented Idaho at the Miss USA 2021 pageant in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Katarina has a Masters of Education in Early Childhood and Special Education and has worked as a special education teacher.
Miss Idaho USA 2021 Katarina Schweitzer holds a Masters of Education in Early Childhood and Special Education, and a certificate in Infant and Toddler Mental Health from Boise State University. She is an alumna of Alpha Chi Omega, the National Honors Society, and is a previous NJROTC Cadet Commander! When not teaching, Katarina enjoys runs with her dog, and watching or playing football. Katarina comes from a military family and has spearheaded a program called Operation Support Our Troops! She has a long pageant history in both California and Idaho including local participation for Miss California Teen USA and numerous Miss Idaho (America) local titles in addition to her previous Miss Idaho USA placements. In 2016 she was third runner-up at Miss Idaho and in 2019 won the Miss Idaho Collegiate America title and was a semi-finalist at Miss Collegiate America that year.
