A native of Mililani, Malulani Paiste was crowned Miss Hawaii Teen USA 2022 on 20 February 2022 and represented Hawaii at Miss Teen USA 2022 in Reno, Nevada. She hopes to become a bioengineer and would like to help Hawaii’s agricultural development to become more sustainable and self-reliant to minimize the need to rely on imported goods.

2022 bio:

Miss Hawaii Teen USA 2022 Malulani Paiste is currently a student at the University of Hawaii at Manoa where she hopes to become a bioengineer to help Hawaii’s agricultural development to become more sustainable and self-reliant to minimize the need to rely on imported goods. This was her first time competing at Miss Hawaii Teen USA but she has competed in several other pageants and is a former Miss Hawaii High School America.
