A native of Anchorage, Katelyn Cusack was crowned Miss Alaska Teen USA on 6 December 2014 and represented Alaska at the Miss Teen USA 2015 pageant in the Bahamas. While this was Katelyn’s first year competing, her older sister Brooke had been a runner-up previously. She loves to explore the beautiful lands of Alaska by fishing, hiking, camping, skiing and snow machining.
Miss Alaska Teen USA 2015 Katelyn Beth Cusack is a daughter, sister and aunt. She is the baby of seven children, raised by her father, Michael Cusack, MD since she was eight months old in Anchorage, Alaska. Katelyn attended a private Catholic Elementary School, but went on to public school for middle school and high school. In high school, Katelyn participated in football, hockey and competitive cheerleading. Katelyn was also a member of her high school Key Club. Katelyn is happiest when surrounded with children and animals. She has a very caring loving soul and can’t wait to get out there and share it with the world. Katelyn loves to explore the beautiful lands of Alaska by fishing, hiking, camping, skiing and snow machining! She is so thankful to God, her father and family for the gifts that she has been given in her life and wants to make good use of them. Everyday, she strives to do what she can to help make this world a better place.
