On June 5th in Midwest City, OK, Hunter Gorton was crowned Miss Oklahoma Teen USA 2021 while representing South Tulsa. After watching her sisters Taylor Gorton and Sydney Gorton compete in pageants since she was just a few years old, it was finally her turn to make her dreams come true!

Hunter is 19 years old and is a sophomore at the University of Central Oklahoma working towards her degree in nursing. She is a certified cosmetologist and operates a booming lash business! Her goal is to open a spa and wellness center that aims to redefine standards of beauty through self-care.

On the weekend, you can find her hitting up garage sales and finding the next big thrifting project or crafting on her Cricut. She also loves to be outside and cut through trails on her Can-Am.

During the pandemic, she launched “The Gorton Giveback” and teamed up with AnewDawn counseling to donate much-needed resources to women and children in the Tulsa area. Understanding the life-changing impact that these necessities can have, has given her an elevated confidence that she’s capable of creating change.
