A native Atlantan, 26-year-old Holly Haynes is thrilled to represent her home state as Miss Georgia USA 2022. Holly graduated with honors from North Gwinnett High School and cum laude from her dream school, the University of Georgia, with a BBA in Marketing, Minor in Fashion Merchandising, and Certificate in Personal and Organizational Leadership.
Holly has been passionate about community service and mentoring the next generation from a young age and has volunteered over 3,200 hours. As a college student, Holly was a YoungLife mentor for middle school girls at Athens Academy for 4 years and noticed they faced the same difficulties she did at their age, but it was even more exacerbated with the prevalence of social media. Because of her relationships with her mentees, she created her internationally featured program and book #IAmEnough. Holly has been able to spread her message to organizations like YoungLife, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, and Young Designers Sewing Club, and she hopes to use her new platform as Miss Georgia USA to reach more children across the state. Because of her work with #IAmEnough and professional success, Holly was honored to be named a Cobb Life Magazine Top 20 Young Professional Under 40. In addition to her philanthropic and entrepreneurial ambitions, Holly enjoys singing, modeling, acting, and writing. In her free time, Holly loves to spend it with her family and friends, traveling, curling up with a good book, exploring local coffee shops, hiking the beautiful North Georgia mountains, and cheering on her favorite teams, the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves. She is the daughter of Mickey and Tiffany Haynes and 1 of 4 siblings with a 27-year-old brother, Michael, 23-year-old sister, Brooke, and 21-year-old sister, McKenzie. She also can’t forget her two furry, four-legged siblings – Bella, their Shorkie, and Miso, their Siamese cat! Holly is new to the Miss GA USA stage but is no stranger to Georgia pageantry, having placed second runner-up at Miss GA 2021, third runner-up in 2019 and as a semi-finalist from 2016-2018! |
