- Miss ND Teen USA 2009 Codi Miller returns, the fifth 2009 Teen to compete this year.
- The only returning runner-up from 2015 is Grace Sproule, second runner-up last year.
- Raquel Wellentin, second runner-up in 2014 and first runner-up in 2013 is back.
- Kate Podolak is the sister of last year's fourth runner-up, Laura Podolak.
- Returning semi-finalists: Taylor Everett, Erica Lemna, Jenna Morlock.

- Appears that no runners-up are returning.
- Returning semi-finalist: Braydn Dresser.
